I have in general found Sendpix to be troublesome. I had a previous (unresolved) trouble report about a repeatable failure,
http://forums.acdsystems.com/index.php?showtopic=6348&mode=threaded&pid=23695

And just now I have been trying to upload several pages of photos (since there is a limit of 50 each) to the server, and 3 went fine, the other three took 10-15 tries each - and just now the last two went through!

The symptoms are that their server can just stop responding to sent data, and then the client times out.
(From HTTP packet trace..!)

I'd suggest using some other service instead; they will also upload to Flickr, and it is slower, but seems more reliable. Also it will preserve full resolution photos for your "clients" to download - if you desire that.

We had the same problem, as far as I could figure out, SendPix would clam up if one of the files was too big or if there was some other sort of irregularity. We've stopped using SendPix but the main reason was the thirty day limit - some people don't open links right away or want to return to pictures later.

I'm sorry to hear that SendPix isn't cooperating for you.
That seems odd that it won't work. I'm going to check on it tomorrow if it matters that you're using the trial. I don't think that it should matter.

My apologies if this is not the correct way to gt help but I have tried using the ACDSee forum page but am not authorised to send questions. Can you help? I currently have a trial version of ACDSee Pro 2 which I am interested in buying. I was trying to see how the Sendpix function works however each time I try to upload pictures I get an Upload Failed message. Is this because I only have a trial version? I am using Windows Vista.
